Prestwick Peptide Library

Prestwick Chemical, Inc. has completed the assembly of one of the most comprehensive and commercially available peptide library containing high-purity and very diverse peptides.

Why a peptide library ?

The Prestwick Peptide Library consists of 240 well-characterized, high purity-peptides. It is ideally suited to characterize orphan receptors by means of reverse pharmacology approaches, to validate new HTS assays or to help define relevant screening strategies.

How provided ?

The Prestwick Peptide Library is made of 240 pharmacologically active peptides or peptide fragments. The library is packaged in 96-microtube plates and each tube contains a different peptide in lyophilized form. The amount of peptide in each tube is such that the addition of 100 µl of solvent to each tube yields a 10-3M peptide solution.

A database ready for use

The Prestwick Peptide Library is provided with a standard data file (SDF) containing numerous fields in a hierarchical structure that can be individually customized (some data are pre-registered). Included with the Prestwick Peptide Library is a CD-ROM containing structures and chemical names of the peptides constituting the library, as well as other useful data.

Additional amounts of substances

For all the peptides of the Prestwick Peptide Library, additional amounts can be provided at cost.

The Library is sold with no strings attached.
